BRUCE RUBIN
Born Jewish and raised in New York City, NY, Bruce’s family were typical middle class Jewish people – they loved Jewish tradition but were non-practicing Jews. They did however insist that Bruce attend Hebrew School and he celebrated his Bar Mitzvah, at age thirteen. But, Bruce always felt that there was more emphasis placed on the Bar than on the Mitzvah. Bruce spent the first twenty years of his life as a reformed, non-practicing Jew and the second twenty years as a non-practicing Catholic. For the first forty years of Bruce’s life it seemed to him that God was generally irrelevant and He had no real affect on Bruce or the people who surrounded him...

ABDU MURRAY
Abdu was born into a proud Muslim family that greatly encouraged his studies of the Qur'an, Islamic doctrine, and Islamic history. During the course of a years-long investigation into the historical and philosophical underpinnings of the major world religions, Abdu discovered that only the evidence for the historic Christian faith could withstand the toughest challenges. The results of Abdu’s intense search, coupled with the Lord’s drawing of his heart, led Abdu to put his faith in Jesus as his one and only sufficient Savior.

MICKEY BADALAMENTI
Born and raised in a nominally religious family, Mickey was driven by a desire to know the Truth yet was skeptical of belief in God.  His journey led him through the different religious systems and philosophies of the world, ranging from Atheism to Christianity to Zen Buddhism, until one day a unique individual crossed his path – the Lord Jesus Christ, God in the Flesh, whose resurrection proved him to be the one and only Truth and Way to Life Everlasting.

Since that time, Mickey has been committed to demonstrating that in Jesus is found life’s author, life’s purpose, and life’s cohesive truth. Mickey is a Founding Member of Aletheia International and continues to actively participate on Aletheia’s board of directors. He lives in Macomb, Michigan with his wife and two children.
